Therapy Approaches

Whether it’s relational concerns, life transitions, focusing on your spirituality, or mental health challenges, I’m here for it. I love working with couples, families, and individuals who are ready to commit to the deep work that is therapy. I typically work from a bottom-up approach, which means I work with you to explore the root system of current concerns, and move toward healing from there. Of course, you always get to set the pace.

It takes so much courage to even start looking for a therapist, and you're doing it! Please reach out if you want to learn more or think we’d be a good fit. I promise I'll make every effort to help the start of therapy not feel so daunting.

Systemic

We don’t live in a bubble, and our experiences are often interconnected to our various contexts. Viewing things systemically & looking at the big picture helps bring personal understanding and insight into how one functions.

Parts Work

I use Internal Family Systems (IFS) to address all parts of a person and how they interact with current beliefs and life experiences.

Trauma Work

I use Eye Movement and Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) as a way to help process and heal trauma experiences and memories.

Somatic Practices & Mindfulness

Our bodies are often way more in tune with our needs and emotions than we even realize. Using somatic work and mindful practices can help move towards attunement and nervous system regulation.
